Go Live Checklist

Before switching your Basqet integration to Live mode, ensure the following steps are completed. This checklist helps confirm that your integration is fully tested, secure, and ready to process real payments.

1. KYB Verification Approved

Your Know Your Business (KYB) verification must be completed and approved. Without KYB approval you will not be able to switch to Live mode or process real transactions.

Ensure that:

• All required KYB documents have been submitted
• Your business profile is complete

2. Integration Tested in Test Mode

Before going live, verify that your integration works correctly in the Test environment. Confirm that you have successfully tested:

• Creating payment transactions
• Handling successful payments
• Handling failed or abandoned payments
• Simulating overpaid and underpaid transactions
• Receiving webhook notifications
• Transaction status updates

3. Webhooks Configured

Basqet uses webhooks to notify your system when events occur.

Ensure that:

• Your webhook endpoint is publicly accessible
• Your endpoint correctly receives and processes webhook events
• Your application properly verifies webhook payloads

4. API Keys Updated for Live Environment

Each environment has its own API keys. Before going live, make sure you:

• Switch your dashboard to Live mode
• Copy your Live API keys
• Replace your Test keys in your application configuration

5. Settlement Configuration Completed

Confirm that your settlement preferences are correctly configured.

Ensure that:

• Your settlement currency is selected
• Your settlement bank details are configured
